78 Derngate is an historic house re-modelled by the famous Scottish architect, Charles Rennie Mackintosh for WJ Bassett-Lowke, the Northampton model maker, in 1916. The house is open to the public for guided tours and also hosts various arts related events.

Entry:
Entry to the house (guided tour) is 5.50. Cost of special events is variable.

Open:
Wed - Sun (during opening season) 10.30 a.m. - 5.00 p.m. Special events can be accomodated at other times by arrangement.

Capacity:
20 - 50, depending on the nature of the event.
