'Returning by a Shorter Path' presents the fruits of a collaborative project between the University of Northampton and Nagoya University in Japan, featuring work by Tomoo Seki and Craig Staff. Seki's work is rooted in external phenomena, whilst Staff's investigates the act of drawing itself; both artists' respective practices are concerned with drawing's capacity to be a tangible, vital record of lived experience.
