National Theatre New Connections Festival
Wed 14 May 2008 - Sat 17 May 2008
The National Theatre’s New Connections festival returns to Royal & Derngate this May. New Connections supported by Bank of America is the world's most ambitious new writing programme for young actors creating theatre.
Produced by the National Theatre, the Connections programme was born in 1993 in response to widespread demand for challenging new plays for young people to perform.
From May 14 -17 Royal & Derngate will be showcasing a selection of these productions, performed by a cross-section of schools and youth theatres from around the region.
The plays in this year’s festival portfolio include works by Bryony Lavery, Frantic Assembly, Nigel Williams and Abi Morgan

This year Royal & Derngate's Youth Theatre will be presenting Burying Your Brother In the Pavement as part of the National Theatre New Connections Festival.
